The NEO® series is built with intelligence and user-friendliness in mind. Intuitive electronic controls and indicator lights for 'Power', 'Delay', 'Clean', 'Full Bin', and 'Service' keep you informed of the machine's status at a glance. For enhanced sanitation, the machine features AlphaSan® anti-microbial protection on key internal components. Cleaning and maintenance are simplified with a forward-sliding storage bin that provides easy access to refrigeration components and a sealed foodzone with a removable water trough, distribution tube, and damper door. This air-cooled, self-contained unit is the ideal, low-maintenance solution for bars, cafes, and restaurants.

  • Lead Times: Standard in-stock units, such as the Indigo NXT iT0450 or iT0500 models, are typically processed and dispatched within 2 to 5 business days. For specialized configurations or large-volume project orders not held in domestic inventory, lead times generally range from 6 to 10 weeks.
  • Freight Coordination: Ice machines contain sensitive evaporators, compressors, and electronic control boards. All units are professionally crated and secured to reinforced skids for LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) transport.

Warranty

Manitowoc provides one of the most comprehensive warranties in the industry, specifically designed to support the long-term reliability of their high-efficiency cooling systems.

  • Ice Maker: The complete machine is covered by a 3-year limited parts and labour warranty from the original date of installation.
  • Evaporator: The evaporator plate, which is the core component of the ice-making process, features an extended 5-year parts and labour warranty.
  • Compressor: The compressor is protected by a 5-year parts warranty and a 3-year labour warranty, providing significant security for the refrigeration system's most critical component.
  • Registration: To ensure prompt service, units should be registered within five days of installation. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation site.

Service & Support

Technical support for Manitowoc is integrated into the Garland Canada service network, which is arguably the most robust in the country.

  • Authorized Service Agents: Warranty and technical repairs are performed by a national network of factory-authorized providers, including major partners like Key Food Equipment in the West and Choquette-CKS in Ontario and Quebec.
  • Parts Availability: A massive inventory of genuine OEM replacement parts—including water pumps, thickness probes, sensors, and distribution tubes—is maintained at the Mississauga headquarters and through regional distributors like Parts Town Canada.
  • Technical Consultations: Provides direct technical assistance to help operators with initial setup, including specific guidance on the programmable ice-production schedules and the "Acoustical Ice Sensing" technology.

Exceptions and Exclusions

To maintain the validity of the Manitowoc warranty, the equipment must be operated and maintained according to professional standards.

  • Water Conditions: Failures caused by adverse water conditions, specifically scale buildup or mineral deposits that clog the distribution tube or damage the pump, are explicitly excluded. The use of a Manitowoc Arctic Pure water filtration system is strongly recommended to maintain warranty compliance.
  • Maintenance Neglect: Standard maintenance, including the cleaning of condenser coils and the 17-step interior sanitization process, is the responsibility of the owner and is not covered under warranty.
  • Improper Utilities: Damage resulting from incorrect electrical voltage, power surges, or improper drainage and plumbing connections is not considered a manufacturing defect.
  • Environmental Limits: Operating the ice machine in ambient temperatures below 40°F (4°C) or above 110°F (43°C) will void the performance guarantee and potentially damage the refrigeration system.
  • Consumables: Wearable items such as air filters and light bulbs are classified as maintenance components and are not covered under the primary warranty.
  • Freight Damage: Any damage sustained during transportation is a freight matter. Visible damage must be reported to the carrier at the time of delivery to facilitate a claim with the logistics provider.
