Follett FREF25-LB-RGD Upright Laboratory Refrigerator
Ensure precise temperature control and reliability for your valuable products with the Follett FREF25-LB-RGD upright laboratory refrigerator. Engineered with a powerful, top-mounted Complete Refrigeration System (CRS), this 24.7 cu ft unit maximizes usable internal space by keeping refrigeration components completely outside the storage compartment. The heavy-duty, right-hinged dual-pane glass door is equipped with self-closing torsion rod hinges and low-E glass coating to minimize energy loss. It features a heated door design that stays condensation-free even in demanding conditions. The advanced microprocessor controller features a clear digital display (factory preset at 4°C), providing absolute peace of mind through audible and visual alarms for high/low temperature variations, probe errors, and door ajar events.

Shipping
All Follett Scientific products ship free from the manufacturing factory in Easton, Pennsylvania, USA. As a premier provider of medical-grade refrigeration and high-performance ice and water dispensers for the laboratory, pharmacy, and healthcare sectors, Follett equipment is built to meet rigorous temperature stability and sanitation standards. Because these units—including upright lab refrigerators, undercounter medical freezers, and specialized ice machines—contain sensitive compressors and precision digital controls, they are shipped via specialized heavy-duty freight carriers. Every shipment is professionally crated and fully insured to protect the specialized internal systems and heavy-gauge stainless steel construction. Liftgate delivery is standard for freight shipments across Canada to ensure safe offloading at your facility.
Warranty
Medical-Grade Refrigeration (Performance Plus & Infinity Series)
Follett Scientific equipment is backed by a robust warranty designed for critical institutional environments:
- 2-Year Parts and Labour Warranty on the entire unit.
- 5-Year Compressor Parts Warranty (this includes 2 years of labour and parts, followed by 3 additional years of parts-only coverage on the compressor).
- Note: The date of installation must not exceed 90 days from the date of shipment to maintain full coverage.
Ice and Water Dispensers (Symphony Plus & 7/15 Series)
For healthcare-specific ice and water solutions, Follett provides high-level protection:
- 3-Year Parts and Labour Warranty on Symphony Plus series ice and water dispensers.
- 2-Year Parts and Labour Warranty on 7 Series and 15 Series dispensers.
- 5-Year Compressor Parts Warranty is standard across most ice-producing models.
Service & Support
Warranty and technical service are managed through a comprehensive network of factory-authorized service representatives across Canada. Because Follett Scientific equipment is critical to patient safety and research integrity, service is performed on-site by specialized technicians. To validate your warranty, the unit must be registered with the manufacturer following installation. For assistance with claims or technical troubleshooting, please have your model and serial number ready. Using authorized Follett technicians is mandatory to ensure the use of genuine OEM parts and to maintain the validity of your laboratory-grade equipment certifications.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon proper installation and routine preventative maintenance. For units used in healthcare or lab settings, documented cleaning and maintenance every 6 months is required to ensure performance and sanitation standards. For ice machines, damage caused by scale buildup or poor water quality is not covered. Coverage excludes wear items such as light bulbs, fuses, door gaskets, and air filters. Damage resulting from improper electrical supply, unauthorized modifications, or use in non-commercial/non-institutional environments will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Freight damage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
