  • Standard Coverage: Most new Resfab "AT" and "ATV" series fryers are backed by a 2-year limited parts and labour warranty from the date of original installation.
  • Component Specifics: Fryer baskets carry a shorter 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • Extended Protection: The warranty is limited to the original owner and is void if the equipment is resold. Coverage includes normal labour charges for repairs performed within 50 miles (80 km) of an authorized service agency.
  • Service Authorization: To maintain validity, all warranty repairs must be pre-authorized by Resfab and performed by a factory-certified technician using genuine Resfab OEM parts.

  • Parts Availability: A comprehensive inventory of genuine OEM parts—including paperless filter components, heating elements, and touchscreen assemblies—is maintained at the Quebec headquarters and through regional distributors like Harlan Fairbanks.

Exceptions and Exclusions

  • Filtration Neglect: Resfab fryers often feature a "Paperless Filter System." Damage caused to the pump due to clogs from improper cleaning of the filter pan or the use of non-Resfab filter media is not covered.
  • Water and Boil-Overs: Damage to electronic components (PLC, touchscreens, or communication cables) caused by "boil-overs" during the cleaning process is explicitly excluded.
  • Consumables: Wearable items such as light bulbs, fuses, O-rings, gaskets, and glass panels are considered maintenance items and are not covered under the primary warranty.
  • Improper Utilities: Failures resulting from incorrect electrical voltage, improper grounding, or power surges are not covered.
  • Residential Use: Resfab does not authorize the use of its products in non-commercial or residential applications; such installations render all warranties null and void.
  • Freight Damage: Any damage sustained during transportation is the responsibility of the carrier. Visible damage must be documented at the time of delivery to facilitate a claim.
