Shipping
All Lainox products ship free from the primary distribution hub in Milton, Ontario. As a flagship brand of the Ali Group, Lainox is a global leader in advanced combi-oven technology, including the Naboo and Sapiens series. Because these units are precision-engineered with sensitive touchscreens, specialized heating elements, and intricate steam generators, they are shipped via specialized heavy-duty freight carriers. Every shipment is professionally palletized and fully insured to protect the stainless steel chassis and high-tech components during transit. Liftgate delivery is standard for freight shipments across Canada to ensure the unit is safely offloaded at your facility.
Warranty
Lainox provides a comprehensive warranty that supports its position as a premium provider of accelerated cooking solutions. The standard coverage typically includes:
- 1-Year Parts and Labour Warranty from the date of original installation. This covers the entire unit, including the electronic control boards, fan motors, and heating systems, against manufacturing defects.
- 2-Year Core Component Protection: Many Lainox models offer extended parts-only coverage on essential components like the steam generator or cooking cavity to ensure long-term reliability.
To maintain the validity of this warranty, the equipment must be installed by a factory-authorized service provider and registered with the manufacturer within 30 days of installation.
Service & Support
Warranty and technical service are managed through a comprehensive network of factory-authorized service agents across Canada, coordinated through the Milton distribution center. Because Lainox combi-ovens are sophisticated pieces of technology that often require precise calibration, all service work must be performed by authorized technicians. Many modern Lainox units, such as the Naboo series, feature Wi-Fi connectivity (Naboo Cloud) which allows for remote diagnostics and software updates. To initiate a claim or request technical assistance, please have your model number and serial number ready. Using authorized service and genuine Lainox OEM parts is mandatory to maintain your warranty status.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the equipment being operated and maintained according to the provided instructions. Specific exclusions include:
- Water Quality: Damage caused by scale buildup or lime due to poor water quality is not covered. It is mandatory to use a manufacturer-approved water filtration system and to perform regular descaling.
- Cleaning Protocols: Failure to follow the prescribed automatic or manual cleaning cycles using approved chemicals can lead to component failure and will void the warranty.
- Consumable & Wear Items: Coverage excludes items such as door gaskets, light bulbs, core probes (unless found defective at startup), and air filters.
- Environmental Factors: Damage resulting from improper electrical supply, incorrect gas pressure (for gas models), or lack of proper ventilation is not covered.
- Commercial Use Only: Standard warranties apply to commercial and institutional installations only; residential use or unauthorized modifications will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Freight damage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
