  • Lead Times: For in-stock inventory, units can typically be dispatched within 3 to 5 business days. For factory orders from Germany, lead times generally range from 8 to 12 weeks to account for production and international sea freight.
  • Logistics and Crating: To protect the high-precision touchscreens and internal steam generators, all ovens are professionally crated and secured to reinforced skids for LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight.
  • Inspection Requirement: Due to the high glass content and sensitive electronic sensors, a thorough inspection is mandatory upon delivery. Any transit damage—especially to the door glass or exterior panels—must be documented on the carrier's bill of lading to preserve freight claim rights.

Warranty

  • Standard Coverage: New Eloma professional ovens typically carry a 1-year limited parts and labour warranty from the date of original installation or commissioning.
  • Extended Protection: Eloma offers a "Free Extra Year" of warranty (2 years total) if the end-user registers the machine within 3 months of installation, reflecting the brand’s confidence in German engineering.
  • Manufacturing Integrity: The warranty covers mechanical and electronic components, including the beater motors, heating elements, and the MT-Technology control boards, against defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Regional Coordination: Warranty claims and technical service for the Canadian market are managed through authorized service partners to ensure repairs meet factory-certified performance standards.

Service & Support

  • Authorized Technicians: Repairs and warranty work are performed by factory-authorized service providers who are specifically trained in Eloma’s specialized water injection and steam technology.

Exceptions and Exclusions

  • Water Quality: Damage resulting from poor water quality, specifically scale buildup or mineral deposits in the steam system, is a primary cause of warranty exclusion. The use of a manufacturer-approved water filtration system is mandatory for warranty validity.
  • Cleaning Neglect: Eloma ovens feature sophisticated automated cleaning systems (Autoclean). Damage caused by a failure to perform daily cleaning cycles or the use of non-approved cleaning chemicals is not covered.
  • Improper Utilities: Failures caused by incorrect electrical voltage, improper gas pressure (for gas models), or a lack of proper drainage/ventilation are explicitly excluded.
  • Wearable Items: Components that naturally wear through high-volume use, such as door gaskets, air filters, and light bulbs, are considered maintenance items and are generally not covered under the primary warranty.
  • Unauthorized Modifications: Any attempt to modify the machine's programming or hardware without factory approval will nullify the remaining warranty.
  • Freight Damage: Any damage sustained during transportation is a freight matter. Missing or dented items must be reported to the carrier at the time of delivery to facilitate a claim with the logistics provider.
