Shipping
Franke Coffee systems ship FREE from the primary distributor out of Bolton, Ontario. Known for high-end Swiss engineering, Franke’s fully automatic bean-to-cup machines—such as the A-series and specialized Mytico line—are precision instruments containing complex grinders, brewing units, and milk systems. These units ship free to most commercial locations across Canada. Because of the sophisticated internal electronics and hydraulic systems, they are transported via specialized freight carriers to ensure they arrive in perfect calibration. Due to the high demand and custom configurations of these machines, some models may be subject to a lead time. Each shipment is professionally palletized and fully insured from the Bolton hub.
Warranty
Franke provides a manufacturer warranty that supports the precision and high-volume capabilities of their professional coffee equipment.
Standard Protection
- 1-Year Parts and Labour Warranty: This covers the machine for 12 months from the date of original installation. It protects against manufacturing defects in the brewing group, ceramic grinders, milk pumps, and digital touchscreen interfaces.
To validate this warranty, the equipment must be installed by a certified technician and registered with the distributor or manufacturer within 30 days of installation. Many Franke machines feature digital telemetry that helps track performance and maintenance, which can be vital for supporting warranty claims.
Service & Support
Warranty and technical service are managed through a national network of factory-authorized service providers. Because Franke machines are highly advanced, featuring modular designs and automated cleaning technologies, all service must be performed by authorized technicians who have access to specialized diagnostic tools. The Bolton-based warehouse maintains an extensive inventory of genuine Franke OEM parts to ensure quick turnaround times. Using non-authorized service agents or non-OEM parts will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the equipment being operated and maintained according to the provided manuals. Specific exclusions include:
- Water Quality & Scale: Damage caused by lime or scale buildup due to hard water is the most common exclusion. A high-quality water filtration system is required for the warranty to remain valid in most regions.
- Cleaning Neglect: Franke machines require daily cleaning of the milk and coffee systems. Failure to perform these automated cleaning cycles using the specified Franke cleaning agents will void the warranty.
- Wearable Items: Consumable parts such as O-rings, seals, and milk tubes are considered wear items and are not covered under the primary 12-month parts warranty.
- Operational Misuse: Damage resulting from the use of oily/flavored beans not intended for the grinders, or improper electrical supply (voltage fluctuations), is not covered.
- Documentation: Freight damage is not a warranty issue; any damage to the unit must be clearly noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
