Every unit is professionally crated and fully insured from the Mississauga hub to ensure it arrives ready for professional installation.

Warranty

Blue Seal provides a comprehensive manufacturer warranty managed by Moffat, designed to support their equipment in high-volume, demanding commercial environments.

  • Standard Protection: Most Blue Seal equipment, including the Evolution Series ranges and fryers, is covered by a 1-year parts and labour warranty from the date of installation.
  • High-Performance Fryers: Blue Seal fryers often feature extended protection on the stainless steel frypot, with select models carrying a 5-year or 10-year parts-only warranty against weld failures and leaks.
  • Convection Ovens: The heavy-duty convection oven range typically includes 12 months of parts and labour coverage, protecting against defects in the motor, fans, and thermostats.

To validate the warranty, the equipment must be registered with Moffat Canada within 30 days of installation. All gas-powered units must be installed by a licensed gas technician to maintain active coverage.

Service & Support

Technical service and warranty repairs are managed through a national network of factory-authorized service providers, coordinated by the Moffat team in Mississauga. Because Blue Seal equipment utilizes heavy-duty components and specialized burner technology, all warranty work must be performed by authorized technicians. Exceptions & Exclusions

Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the equipment being operated and maintained according to the provided manuals. Specific exclusions include:

  • Maintenance Responsibilities: Routine cleaning, clearing of grease from burner orifices, and leveling of the equipment are the responsibility of the owner and are not covered under warranty.
  • Wearable Items: Consumable parts such as light bulbs, door gaskets, fuses, and ceramic igniters are considered wear items and are not covered under the primary parts warranty.
  • Operational Misuse: Damage caused by "dry-firing" fryers, using incorrect gas pressure, or improper electrical supply is excluded.
  • Documentation: Freight damage is not a warranty issue; any visible damage to the crate or unit must be clearly noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
