Standard Warranty

Gemm equipment is backed by a robust manufacturer warranty that reflects its world-class Italian engineering and reliability in demanding culinary environments. The standard warranty coverage for Gemm refrigeration units includes:

• 1 Year Parts and Labour Warranty on the entire unit.
• 3 Years Parts Warranty on the compressor.

This coverage is designed to protect the critical high-performance compressors and electronic control panels that allow for the rapid chilling and freezing cycles characteristic of Gemm’s technology.

Service & Support

Warranty service is coordinated through Eurodib’s extensive authorized Canadian service network. Because almost all Gemm blast chillers and display cabinets weigh significantly more than 75 lbs, they qualify for on-site service. In the event of a technical issue, Eurodib will dispatch an authorized technician to your location to perform repairs. For assistance with warranty claims, technical support, or technician dispatch, please have your model number, serial number, and proof of purchase ready. Using an authorized service agency is required to ensure your equipment is maintained to factory standards and remains under warranty.

Exceptions & Exclusions

Warranty coverage is contingent upon the unit being installed by a licensed professional and operated on a dedicated electrical circuit with proper ventilation. For refrigeration equipment, it is critical that the unit sits upright for a minimum of 24 hours before being plugged in to allow refrigerant gases to settle. Damage resulting from improper electrical supply, failure to clean condenser coils, or unauthorized modifications is not covered. Coverage excludes wear parts such as gaskets, light bulbs, and internal shelves or trays, which are subject to normal operational wear. Standard warranties apply to commercial installations only; residential use or use in non-commercial settings will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Cosmetic damage occurring after delivery is not covered.
