Amana commercial microwaves are backed by a robust manufacturer warranty that distinguishes them from residential models. The standard coverage typically includes:

• 1-Year Parts and Labour Warranty on the entire unit from the date of original purchase.
• 3-Year Limited Warranty on core components for select heavy-duty models, specifically covering the high-voltage magnetron tube.
• This coverage ensures that the unit maintains consistent power levels and reliable cycle counts in high-demand environments like convenience stores and restaurants.

Magnetron & Component Terms

For many high-volume models, the warranty transitions in the second and third years to a parts-only warranty for the magnetron. During the initial one-year full warranty period, service is typically performed on-site for larger models. Compact or low-volume commercial units may be subject to a carry-in or bench warranty, requiring the unit to be taken to an authorized service depot for repair. To validate your warranty, it is essential to keep your proof of purchase and register the product with the manufacturer.

Service & Support

Warranty and technical service are managed through the ACP (Accelerated Cooking Products) specialized network of authorized service providers across Canada. Because a down microwave can impact service speed, Amana provides dedicated technical support (ComServ) for immediate troubleshooting and service dispatch. To initiate a claim, users should have their model and serial number ready, which can be found on the data plate located on the back or side of the oven. Using authorized technicians is mandatory to ensure the use of genuine Amana/ACP OEM parts and to maintain the safety certifications of the equipment.

Exceptions & Exclusions

Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the microwave being cleaned and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Damage resulting from arcing caused by metal utensils or foil, "dry-firing" (running the oven empty), or a lack of regular air filter cleaning is not covered. Coverage excludes consumable and aesthetic items such as light bulbs, ceramic shelves, and plastic ceiling shields. The warranty is strictly for commercial installations; using a professional Amana unit in a residential setting or making unauthorized modifications will void the coverage. Freight damage must be reported on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a replacement or repair claim.
