Every shipment includes comprehensive shipping insurance at no additional cost to protect your investment during transit. As Omcan maintains one of the largest inventories of foodservice equipment in North America, many items are available for quick-ship delivery, though lead times may vary for specialized or high-demand models. Due to the diverse range of equipment sizes, units are shipped via specialized freight or secure parcel services. Standard Warranty

Omcan equipment is backed by a reliable manufacturer warranty tailored to the specific product category. Most commercial food machinery and preparation equipment include a 1-year parts and labour warranty. For refrigeration products, Omcan typically provides an enhanced 2-year parts and labour warranty, with an additional 5-year parts-only warranty on the compressor. Smaller countertop "bench" items may be subject to a carry-in or ship-back warranty for specialized repair.

Service & Support

Warranty service is coordinated through Omcan’s extensive authorized Canadian service network. For assistance with warranty claims, technical service, or technician dispatch, please have your model number, serial number, and proof of purchase ready. Using an authorized service agency is required to ensure your equipment is repaired to factory standards. Omcan also offers a dedicated technical support team and an online parts store to assist with maintenance and minimize operational downtime.

Exceptions & Exclusions

Warranty coverage is contingent upon installation by a licensed professional and regular maintenance. Damage resulting from improper electrical supply, lack of routine cleaning, or unauthorized modifications is not covered. Coverage excludes "wear parts" such as light bulbs, glass panels, and door gaskets, which are subject to normal operational wear. Standard warranties apply to commercial installations only; residential use or use in non-commercial settings will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Cosmetic damage occurring after delivery is not covered.
