Shipping
All XpressChef products ship free from the primary distribution hub in Milton, Ontario. As the high-speed cooking division of ACP, Inc. (an Ali Group Company), XpressChef specializes in advanced ovens that combine convection, impingement, and microwave energy. Because these units are precision-engineered with sensitive touchscreens, catalytic converters for ventless operation, and high-voltage internal components, they are shipped via specialized freight or standard parcel services depending on the model's weight. Every shipment is professionally packaged and insured to protect the stainless steel exterior and internal cooking cavity during transit. Standard shipping ensures these high-performance tools reach commercial kitchens and QSR environments across Canada efficiently.
Warranty
Standard High-Speed Protection
XpressChef ovens are backed by a comprehensive manufacturer warranty designed for the high-intensity demands of accelerated cooking. The standard coverage includes:
- 1-Year Parts and Labour Warranty on the entire unit from the date of original purchase.
- 3-Year Limited Warranty on core components for select models, specifically covering the high-voltage magnetron tubes.
- This coverage ensures that the heating elements, fan motors, and control boards maintain peak performance for consistent throughput. To maintain the validity of this warranty, units must be registered within 30 days of installation.
Specialized Service Terms
Reflecting the complexity of high-speed technology, warranty service is managed through a priority dispatch system. During the initial one-year period, service for standard installations is performed on-site at your facility. However, for equipment installed in limited-access sites—such as food trucks, ghost kitchens, or mobile units—the warranty is strictly subject to a bench or mail-in service. In these cases, the owner is responsible for transporting the unit to an authorized service depot.
Service & Support
Warranty and technical service are coordinated through the ACP ComServ support network, which provides dedicated assistance for XpressChef users in Canada. Because a down high-speed oven can significantly slow service times, technical support is available for immediate troubleshooting and service dispatch. To initiate a claim, users must have the model number and serial number ready, which are located on the oven's data plate. Using factory-authorized technicians is mandatory to ensure the use of genuine ACP/XpressChef OEM parts and to maintain the safety and ventilation certifications of the equipment.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the oven being operated and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Specific requirements include:
- Daily Cleaning: Damage resulting from grease or food material buildup due to improper cleaning is a primary cause of component failure and is not covered.
- Air Filter Maintenance: These units utilize cleanable magnetic air filters; failure to clean or replace them can lead to overheating and will void the warranty.
- Consumable & Fragile Items: Coverage excludes items such as light bulbs, air filters, oven liners, and ceramic trays or stirrer covers.
- Electrical & Operational Issues: Damage caused by connection to an improper power supply or operating the oven empty is excluded.
- Commercial Use Only: The warranty is strictly for commercial installations; residential use or unauthorized modifications will void the coverage. Freight damage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
