Shipping
All Randell products ship free from the primary distribution hub in Mississauga, Ontario. As a prominent brand under the Electrolux Professional (formerly Unified Brands) umbrella and distributed in Canada by Celco Inc., Randell is a leader in custom refrigeration, prep tables, and chef bases. Because these units often feature large footprints, intricate drawer systems, or specialized "Precise Temp" technology, they are shipped via specialized freight carriers. Every shipment is professionally palletized and fully insured to protect the stainless steel chassis and internal refrigeration components during transit. Liftgate delivery is standard for freight shipments across Canada to ensure the unit is safely offloaded at your facility.
Warranty
Randell provides a robust warranty program that reflects the industrial build quality of their American-engineered systems.
Standard Protection
- 1-Year Parts and Labour Warranty on the entire unit from the date of original installation or 3 months from the date of shipment, whichever occurs first. This covers all mechanical components, drawer tracks, and digital controllers against manufacturing defects.
Extended Compressor Coverage
- 5-Year Compressor Warranty (parts only) is standard on most self-contained refrigeration models. This provides an additional four years of parts protection for the compressor after the initial full warranty period expires.
To validate these warranties, the equipment must be registered with Celco Inc. within 30 days of installation. This ensures that high-volume operations have the necessary support for their essential cold-storage and prep equipment.
Service & Support
Warranty and technical service are managed through a comprehensive network of factory-authorized service providers across Canada, coordinated by the team at Celco Inc. in Mississauga. Randell equipment is designed for long-term reliability, but should service be required, Celco provides responsive technical assistance and dispatches authorized technicians for on-site repairs. To initiate a claim or request technical troubleshooting, please have your model number and serial number ready. Using authorized service agents and genuine Randell OEM parts is mandatory to maintain the validity of your manufacturer’s warranty.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the equipment being installed and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Specific exclusions include:
- Maintenance-Related Failures: Damage resulting from a failure to clean condenser coils, blocked airflow, or improper temperature adjustments is not covered. Regular cleaning is critical for the performance of the refrigeration system.
- Consumable & Wear Items: Coverage excludes items such as door/drawer gaskets, light bulbs, and plastic internal accessories once the unit has been in operation.
- Operational Misuse: Damage caused by improper electrical supply, use of extension cords, or installation in outdoor/non-commercial settings is not covered.
- Cosmetic & Glass Damage: Scratches, dents, or broken glass must be reported immediately upon delivery; these are not covered under the standard warranty once the product has been accepted.
- Documentation: Freight damage is not a warranty issue and must be clearly noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a replacement or repair claim.
