  • Lead Times: In-stock items like the 0.4 HP or 1.5 HP meat grinders are typically processed and dispatched within 1 to 3 business days.
  • Logistics: While smaller vacuum sealers may ship via parcel carriers, the larger #22 and #32 meat grinders and industrial tomato presses are often palletized for LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight due to their weight.

  • Carry-In Service: For both commercial and residential users, Reber equipment is generally designated as carry-in service. This means the owner is responsible for transporting the unit to an authorized service center (typically in Mississauga or a regional partner) for repair.
  • Residential Note: While highly popular for home processing, on-site service is never provided for units located at residential addresses.

  • Authorized Technicians: Repairs are performed by factory-trained technicians who understand the specific tolerances of Reber’s oil-bath gearboxes and cooling systems.

Exceptions and Exclusions

  • Wearable Components: The warranty does not cover parts that naturally wear through use, such as grinding plates, knives, nylon plungers, and filter cones.
  • Dry Running: For tomato presses and meat grinders, running the machine "dry" (without product) can cause friction heat that damages the internal bushings; this is considered operator error and is not covered.
  • Moisture and Oxidation: Reber’s traditional line uses tinned cast iron. Failure to properly dry and oil these components after use, resulting in rust or oxidation, is a maintenance failure and voids the warranty.
  • Improper Utilities: Damage caused by power surges, incorrect voltage, or the use of long, thin extension cords that starve the induction motor of amperage is explicitly excluded.
  • Commercial Overloading: Using a "Home" rated model (0.3 HP or 0.4 HP) for continuous industrial processing will void the warranty due to excessive duty-cycle strain.
  • Freight Damage: Any damage sustained during transportation is a freight matter. Missing or broken parts must be reported to the carrier at the time of delivery to facilitate a claim.
