Exceptions and Exclusions

- Electrical Matching: Damage caused by connecting an oven to an incorrect voltage or phase (e.g., 208V oven on a 240V line) is a major exclusion. All electrical connections must be performed by a licensed electrician, and no power cables or plugs are supplied with the units.
- Clearance Requirements: Improper installation with inadequate ventilation is a primary cause of control board failure. A minimum of 2 inches of clearance is required around the unit, increasing to 6 inches if the oven is adjacent to other hot equipment like fryers or ranges.
- Steam System Maintenance: For ovens equipped with the optional steam system, damage caused by scale buildup or poor water quality is not covered. A water filtration or softening system is required if the local water supply is hard.
