Warranty
Vitamix Commercial offers tiered warranty protection based on the specific model series. These warranties are designed to support the high-demand environment of professional kitchens and beverage stations.

- 3-year coverage on the motor base parts against manufacturing defects.
- 1-year coverage on labour from the original date of purchase.
Vita-Prep and Vita-Prep 3 Series
Known as the workhorses of the culinary world, these units generally include:

To validate your warranty, the equipment should be registered with Vitamix within 30 days of purchase.
Service & Support
Warranty and technical service are managed through a comprehensive network of factory-authorized service providers across Canada, supported by the Milton distribution team. For the majority of Vitamix Commercial units, service is handled as a carry-in or bench warranty. This means the unit must be sent to an authorized service center for repair. To initiate a claim, please have your model and serial number ready, which are located on the back or bottom of the motor base. Using authorized service and genuine Vitamix OEM parts is mandatory to maintain the validity of your manufacturer's warranty.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the equipment being used for its intended commercial purpose and maintained according to the provided instructions. Specific exclusions include:
- Consumable & Wear Items: While containers and blade assemblies have limited initial coverage, they are considered wear items. Damage caused by normal wear and tear, or accidental damage like dropping a container, is not covered.
- Blade and Drive Socket Maintenance: The drive socket is designed to wear out over time to protect the motor. Regular replacement of this part is a maintenance requirement and not a warranty defect.
- Operational Misuse: Damage caused by using non-Vitamix parts (such as third-party containers), tampering with the motor base, or using the unit in a residential setting will void the warranty.
- Cleaning Protocols: Damage resulting from submerging the motor base in water or using abrasive chemicals on the touchpads or housing is excluded.
- Documentation: Freight damage must be clearly noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a replacement or repair claim.
