Shipping
XLT Ovens are coordinated through a specialized distribution network in Canada, with primary operations often handled through regional hubs or directly via XLT Ovens Canada. Because these conveyor ovens and exhaust hoods are exceptionally heavy and contain complex Quiet Fire burner systems and high-torque motors, they are shipped via heavy-duty freight carriers. Every unit is professionally crated and fully insured to protect the stainless steel chassis and internal components during transit. While shipping costs are typically calculated based on the specific configuration and destination, many equipment packages qualify for competitive or inclusive shipping rates when coordinated through authorized Canadian channels.
Warranty
XLT Ovens offers what is widely recognized as the most comprehensive and longest-lasting warranty in the commercial cooking industry, reflecting the extreme durability of their equipment.
Standard Protection
- 7-Year Parts and Labour Warranty: This industry-leading coverage applies to all XLT conveyor ovens purchased individually. It covers every major component, including the burner assembly, control board, and motor, against manufacturing defects for seven years.
- 10-Year Parts and Labour Warranty: When an XLT oven is purchased in combination with a pre-piped XLT hood system, the warranty is extended to a full decade of coverage for both the oven and the hood.
Extended Component Coverage
- 10-Year Warranty on Specific Parts: Regardless of the package, XLT warrants the main fan blades, conveyor shafts, and conveyor bearings for 10 years.
- 10-Year Rust-Free Warranty: The manufacturer guarantees that all ovens and hoods will remain free from rust for ten years from the date of purchase.
To validate these warranties, the Initial Start-Up Checklist must be completed by a locally licensed contractor and returned to XLT within 30 days of installation.
Service & Support
Technical service for XLT Ovens is supported by a 24/7/365 live technical support line, ensuring operators can get assistance at any time, including nights and weekends. For on-site repairs, XLT maintains a well-established network of authorized service providers across Canada. If a part failure occurs, XLT frequently arranges for next-day parts shipping to minimize operational downtime. Prior authorization is required for all warranty work—users must contact XLT support before any repair work commences to ensure the costs are covered.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the equipment being installed and maintained according to the provided manuals. Specific exclusions include:
- Utility Issues: Damage caused by power surges, incorrect voltage, or improper gas pressure/volume is not covered.
- Maintenance Neglect: Issues resulting from a failure to perform daily or weekly cleaning—such as grease buildup in the burner or fans—are excluded.
- Consumable Items: The warranty does not cover conveyor belts, filters, light bulbs, or painted/powder-coated surfaces.
- Unauthorized Service: Any repair work initiated without first contacting XLT technical support may void the warranty and result in out-of-pocket expenses.
- Documentation: Freight damage is not a warranty issue; any damage to the crate or unit must be clearly noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
