Shipping
All Menumaster products ship free from the primary distribution hub in Milton, Ontario. As a flagship brand of ACP, Inc. (an Ali Group Company), Menumaster is a global leader in commercial microwave and accelerated cooking technology. Because these units contain high-voltage magnetrons and sensitive digital control boards, they are shipped via specialized freight or standard parcel services depending on the model's weight. Every shipment is professionally packaged and insured to protect the stainless steel chassis and door seals from damage during transit. Standard shipping ensures that these essential high-volume tools reach restaurants, healthcare facilities, and convenience stores across Canada efficiently.
Warranty
Standard & Medium Volume Protection
Menumaster commercial microwaves are backed by a robust manufacturer warranty designed to withstand the rigors of professional foodservice. The standard coverage typically includes:
- 1-Year Parts and Labour Warranty on the entire unit from the date of original purchase.
- 3-Year Limited Warranty on many models, which provides full parts and labour coverage in the first year, followed by an additional two years of parts-only coverage for the magnetron tube.
To validate your warranty, the unit must be registered with the manufacturer within 30 days of installation.
Heavy-Duty & High-Volume Models (DEC & MFS Series)
For heavy-duty models designed for 200+ cycles per day, Menumaster often provides enhanced protection:
- 3-Year Full Warranty on select high-volume ovens, covering parts, labour, and travel for the entire three-year period.
- This "bumper-to-bumper" coverage is among the best in the industry, reflecting the industrial build quality of their high-wattage equipment.
Service & Support
Warranty and technical service are managed through the ACP ComServ support network, providing dedicated assistance for Menumaster users across Canada. Because a down microwave can stall a kitchen's workflow, technical support is available for immediate troubleshooting and service dispatch to a factory-authorized technician. To initiate a claim, users must have their model and serial number ready. For standard commercial units, service is performed on-site; however, compact or light-duty units may be subject to a carry-in warranty at an authorized service depot.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the unit being operated and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Specific exclusions include:
- Cleaning & Maintenance: Damage resulting from grease buildup or failed air filters is not covered. Daily cleaning of the cavity and filters is required.
- Operational Misuse: Damage caused by "dry-firing" (running the oven empty) or using metal utensils that cause arcing will void the warranty.
- Prohibited Environments: The warranty is void if the equipment is installed in a prison or correctional facility, unless specifically authorized.
- Consumable Items: Coverage excludes light bulbs, air filters, and broken ceramic shelves or glass.
- Commercial Use Only: Standard warranties apply to commercial installations; residential use or unauthorized modifications will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Freight damage must be noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
