Shipping
Insinger warewashing equipment ships directly from their manufacturing facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a specialist in heavy-duty commercial dishwashers—including flight-type, conveyor, and door-type machines—Insinger units are high-mass, industrial-grade appliances constructed with heavy-gauge stainless steel. Because these units ship from the USA factory to Canadian destinations, they are transported via specialized international freight carriers on custom heavy-duty skids. This ensures the structural integrity of the tanks, spray arms, and sensitive electronic controls remains intact during cross-border transit. Every shipment is professionally crated and fully insured from the factory to the final destination to guarantee the equipment arrives in peak operational condition.
Warranty
Insinger Machine Company provides a manufacturer warranty designed to protect their equipment in high-volume, institutional, and commercial environments across North America.
- Standard Protection: Most Insinger dishwashers are covered by a 1-year parts and labour warranty from the date of installation.
- Performance Guarantee: The warranty ensures that the equipment will meet the performance standards specified at the time of purchase, provided the installation meets all local codes and factory requirements.
- On-Site Service: As these are large-scale commercial machines, warranty service is performed on-site by authorized service technicians located within the Canadian service network.
To validate the warranty, the equipment must be registered with Insinger within 30 days of installation. All units must be installed by a licensed plumber and electrician to maintain active coverage.
Service & Support
Technical service and warranty repairs are managed through a national network of factory-authorized service providers across Canada. Since Insinger machines utilize specialized final rinse boosters, high-capacity pumps, and advanced conveyor systems, all warranty work must be performed by authorized technicians. While the units ship from the USA, the Canadian service network maintains access to genuine Insinger OEM parts, including heating elements, wash arm manifolds, and control boards, to ensure response times are optimized and downtime is minimized in critical kitchen operations.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the equipment being operated and maintained according to the provided manuals. Specific exclusions include:
- Water Quality and Scale: Damage caused by lime or scale buildup due to poor water quality is a leading cause of dishwasher failure and is not covered. The use of a water softener or treatment system is required if local water hardness exceeds 3 grains per gallon.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clogged spray nozzles, blocked scrap trays, or pump damage caused by food debris are considered operational maintenance and are not covered under warranty.
- Wearable Items: Consumable parts such as door gaskets, O-rings, and certain plastic components are considered wear items and are not covered under the primary parts warranty.
- Improper Installation: Damage resulting from incorrect utility connections, including improper water pressure or incorrect electrical voltage, is excluded.
- Documentation: Freight damage is not a warranty issue; any visible damage to the crate or unit must be clearly noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a claim.
