Shipping
All FWE products ship free from the primary distribution hub in Mississauga, Ontario. As a cornerstone of the Celco Inc. portfolio in Canada, FWE specializes in high-performance heated holding cabinets, banquet carts, and "Cook & Hold" ovens. Because these units are built with heavy-duty, all-welded stainless steel and often feature high-density insulation, they are shipped via specialized freight carriers to prevent structural damage or misalignment of the precision door gaskets. Every shipment is professionally palletized and insured. Liftgate delivery is standard for freight shipments across Canada to ensure the unit is safely offloaded at your facility.
Warranty
FWE provides a robust warranty program that reflects their "built like a tank" manufacturing philosophy. The standard coverage for commercial installations includes:
- 2-Year Parts Warranty from the original date of installation. This covers the heating elements, blowers, and electronic controllers against manufacturing defects.
- 1-Year Labour Warranty from the original date of installation.
To validate this coverage, the equipment must be registered with Celco Inc. or FWE within 30 days of installation. This protection is designed to support the rigorous, 24/7 demands of hotels, stadiums, and high-volume catering operations.
Service & Support
Warranty and technical service are managed through Celco’s extensive national service network, coordinated from their Mississauga headquarters. FWE units are known for their "top-mount" heat systems and accessible components, which allow for efficient on-site servicing. To initiate a claim or request technical assistance, please have your model number and serial number ready. Using authorized technicians and genuine FWE OEM parts is mandatory to maintain the validity of your manufacturer's warranty and ensures the continued safety and performance of the equipment.
Exceptions & Exclusions
Warranty coverage is strictly contingent upon the equipment being operated and maintained according to the provided instructions. Specific exclusions include:
- Correctional Facilities: Due to the extreme environment, units installed in correctional settings typically carry a modified warranty (often 2 years parts and 6 months labour).
- Consumable & Wear Items: Coverage excludes items such as light bulbs, door gaskets, and certain casters if damage is due to floor debris or improper use.
- Operational Misuse: Damage caused by using the unit with an incorrect voltage supply, or failure to follow the "clean-out" procedures for moisture-controlled cabinets, will void the warranty.
- Cleaning Protocols: Using caustic chemicals or high-pressure washers on the electronic control panels or internal fans is not covered.
- Documentation: Freight damage is not a warranty issue and must be clearly noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery to be eligible for a replacement or repair claim.
